CJC’s Coxhell near perfect at Winton Formula Extreme
CJC Racing’s Craig Coxhell completed a near perfect weekend at Winton taking pole position, 3 wins and a 3rd place at his home track.
“We had a great weekend. It’s always great fun to come here – we have a lot of support at Winton which is why we came this weekend. FX runs a control treaded tyre and stock engines, so we had to build a bike specifically for the event. The treaded tyres were the biggest difference – particularly when it came to bike setup, we had to soften the suspension quite a bit to get them to work compared to when we run slicks. And they felt pretty different to what I’m used to! Said the Shepparton based former Australian Superbike Champ.
