Coxhell takes first podium for CJC at Eastern Creek
CJC’s Craig Coxhell signalled his intentions early in the week holding top spot in qualifying for the majority of regular qualifying before being moved back to second place prior to Superpole. The new top 8 shootout format saw him slip back to position 6 on the grid and it was from there that he battled his way back to 3rd in a thrilling race 1. In doing so becoming the first privateer to take a podium in the superbike class this year and in front of a large crowd at Eastern Creek.
CJC looks forward to a powerful weekend at Eastern Creek
On the back of some impressive results from recent tests, Craig Coxhell and the CJC Racing team are set and ready to go ahead of this weekend’s round 4 of the Woodstock Bourbon Australian Superbike Championship. With the addition of some new suspension components and ongoing development from the team, they are expecting to be once again battling at the front of the pack.
